Frost in the Garden

We have had quite a run of warm weather but I hate to say it but it is that time of year when the nights can get a little frosty; and with tomatoes, beans, peppers… and a bunch of other garden veggies still chugging out the produce, you don’t want to lose them now!

Best to have old sheets or thin tarps handy; just in case the weather man says it going to get
down into the 30’s while you sleep.
I would not however cover up the broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage or cauliflower, it isn’t necessary. In fact a good couple of hard frosts bring out the sugars in them, making them taste better than anything you could ever get in the grocery store.
