One thing we notice as we’re cleaning up around the flowering trees is all the stick growth coming up all around the Crabs. Every year we cut this stuff out; and every year it keeps comes back. This unfortunately is the nature of Crab trees, it’s called “sucker growth”.
Your
only option is to cut these suckers down as deep, and as close to the
horizontal root it’s growing from as possible.
If you
can come up with a way to stop this sucker growth completely you will be a very
rich person.
