Seed
creation shuts down flower production; for seed production signals “mission
accomplished” for that year. Remove the seed pods and the plant just may start
up again.
In the
picture below you have the seed pods on the left, and flower buds on the right.
Removing what’s on the left should give you more of what’s on the right, which
in turn becomes what’s pictured beneath.
