Time to Deadhead some of your flower bed flowers.
It isn’t
a very complicated possess; you just go through your annuals and cut off the
“past their prime” flowers.
In doing
this you make the plant produce more flowers. Why does the plant do this you
may ask? It is all about propagation of the species; the plant failed to
produce seeds when you cut off the spent flower heads. All flowers are gateways
to seed production, and if the plant’s flower production yields no seed, it
keeps trying until it does, or a frost shuts it all down.
